July Travels
I had such a good time down at the shore in June. It was totally relaxing. I have another type of trip coming up in July. This time my son and I are going to be doing Florida for a couple days, then South Carolina.
I've been to Orlando multiple times, and South Carolina, I've been to, just not Myrtle Beach. I'm glad to try out a new place. We tend to go to the same places for vacations mostly, and I'm thinking it's time to stretch my wings a little bit.
Take for example when I went to Sedona, it was something totally different! It wasn't my regular vacation, and showed me a totally different type of area. I really loved it out there. We will be stopping over in Hilton Head for a day before moving on to Myrtle Beach. I'm excited because I've heard good things about it. I hope to explore a little bit, and maybe consider it for a future vacation.
I'm used to Jersey beaches mostly, though I've been to Outer Banks, Tampa, Galveston, and Virginia Beach, so I'm ready to see how it is in South Carolina. I was over at a website DestinationVacationHHI.com the other day, looking at the Sea Pines rentals, along with other information. I like to get an idea about the area I'm looking at. I also enjoy Trip Advisor to read other people's information. I do have a vacation club, and we have three places we can choose from out there, so I'll be looking forward to see what I think when we visit in July for the day. Wish I had more time to explore, but we're moving up to Myrtle Beach from Orlando, so this is just a halfway point for us.
