I've Returned from the Brink of Death
...okay, maybe not the edge, truly the edge, but I've recovered from this nasty sinus and eye infection! I just felt like death warmed over for over a week now. 10 days of nasty-fluid-filled YUCK!

I can get back to talking about life, living, the freaking heat and an a/c compressor! Okay, maybe the A/C isn't the problem, and hot flashes are, but really, what's a woman in her 40's to do? The air is running, I have fans going, and still I overheat at moments! Yes, yes, I said in my 40's. I've graduated from being 40, to being in my 40's! My birthday, heck, my birthday week was met with infection, but I've healed and I'm ready to celebrate!
On a side note, saw "Get Smart" yesterday, and was prepared with cough drops, JUST IN CASE...and yes, I needed two, but that's besides the point. It's only when I start laughing hard that I go into spasms of coughing...but I'm no longer a contagious beast. I've been smothered in antibiotics and such, so have no fear. Cute and fun family movie...hurry, go see it. Steve Carrell rocked that role!
