Superheroes and Curve Balls

Yesterday turned into quite an interesting day. Life threw me a few curve balls, but I dodged where I could, and just dealt with the rest of them. Life isn't always a smooth, straight path, and learning to adapt makes things easier. So many people want to force situations to be comfortable for them. When you learn to zig or zag, you can find those changes in life won't throw you for such a big loop after all.

Sure there was turmoil, but otherwise, life went on.

We went and saw Superhero Movie last night. My son (13) had requested we see it this weekend. I went in expecting your typical spoof with maybe 2 or 3 laughs. I was wrong. It was funny! We had a blast watching this movie. If you like silly humor and spoofs, this one is fun. We laughed through the entire movie. It's a spoof basically on Spiderman, and the throw back cast with favorites like Leslie Neilson made this great. Jeffrey Tambourn, Pam Anderson and Mrs C from Happy Days gave it a fun, familiar feel.

Ever seen Drake and Josh? If you have kids you know who I'm talking about...well, Drake played the main character. Sorry, don't know his real name. Josh, ironically played in Drillbit Taylor, which we saw last weekend! Ha, that was wild...to see them both. It's a show I've seen on and off watching TV with my son over the years.

Even with the craziness of other things happening during the day, life turned out okay by the time I went to bed.
