Crazy Busy and Ice Storm

We went out yesterday, and it was amazing how much traffic there was. Everybody was out and about, I guess in anticipation of the storm that was coming our way. We got heavy ice and a light coating of snow. You can tell it's thick, because when the dogs walk on it out back, it doesn't leave a footprint or anything. That ought to be fun to dig through on the driveway. We'll put some salt down, but breaking ice is the worst! It's grueling work.

Passing by Target and Walmart, it seemed like every available person was parked there! We did the movies, and even the theater was a full house. Maybe people are afraid they'd have cabin fever today with the weather. Either way, I have to dig out of it today, so I can drive my son home tonight, since he'll probably have school tomorrow.
