Were the Palm Trees Real?

One of the places we visited this past wek had new palm trees placed around. I kept trying to figure out if they were real, or if they were silk trees. I've seen some realistic trees that weren't real before, and sometimes for me, a non-gardener, some of them come so close to the reality, that I never figure it out!

I think a few were real, and a few were fake trees. The real ones had brown tinge at the tips of the leaves, so I figured they were probably the real ones. The more I see the silk trees, the more I realize that even someone like me, horrible with plants can have a realistic looking tree in my home. I may have to think about adding some silk trees to our home to warm up a few spots!

I just keep thinking, do palm trees surviving in New Jersey weather? I just don't know!
