Interview Meme
This is an interview meme, where you ask to be included. I read Julie's interview, and asked her to interview me. If you'd like to participate, in my comments write "INTERVIEW ME" and I'll send you questions. I'll take the first 3-4 people who comment they want to be interviewed. Each person gets unique questions. Here is the interview Julie sent to me. Thank you Julie.
1. Of all the blogs I read, you are the first one to post with the latest current events happening in the world. How do you stay on top of the news?
I have a voracious reading appetite. I have both My Yahoo and My Personalized Google stacked with headlines on different topics. For NJ news, I scan NJ.com along with other places. I also have a large list of popular blogs on my reader, and try to stay current. I don't necessarily blog about top stories all the time, just the ones that catch my eye.
2. Of all the places you have blogged about on your travel blog, which is the one place you want to go to most?
My travel blog Two Dog Zoo Travel, lists multiple places. I'd love to go to Australia, but I'm not sure I could sit on a plane for that long. I'd probably have to say Puerto Rico. I'd love to explore it with my husband who has family there. He hasn't been there since he was a young child, and I've never been. It seems a paradise unto itself.
3. How much Diet Coke do you drink a day?
Way too much....hahah. I easily do a 6 pack of cans...sometimes more. I do mean EASILY.
4. What do you think about your state Governor not wearing a seatbelt when he got in his car accident?
It's hard to preach when you don't practice something yourself. I think it's a shame he was hurt so badly. I'm surprised that the state trooper didn't insist. When I ran with a rescue squad, it was mandatory to wear a seat belt to drive the ambulance, and I got into the habit early. While I don't think that the government should dictate what a person can do or has to do in their vehicle while driving, I think common sense says, if you put it on, it may save your life.
5. Do you have any regrets? (this is just a great question for everyone)
Sure I have regrets, I think most people do. Would I do some things differently? Hindsight is 20/20, but I've learned from most of my mistakes and became a stronger person for it. Adversity is the key to growing.
Thank you again to Julie for taking the time to interview me.

Looks like I'm first! This is a cool way to get some "link love" going, so "interview me."
