How Rare is Your Personality?

Your Personality is Somewhat Rare (ISTP)
Your personality type is reserved, methodical, spirited, and intense. Only about 6% of all people have your personality, including 3% of all women and 8% of all men You are Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Perceiving.

Quiet Week

I expect a pretty quiet week this week, which suits me just fine. I'm ready for a quiet week. I'm looking forward to reading out in the sun room. I'm looking forward to quiet mornings, and I'm looking forward to quiet evenings.

We put a "rope light" up in the sunroom to put off just a slight glow, and it looks great. We put it at the top of the room, where the sunroom meets the house. It's a little glow, so it doesn't stand out, but your eyes adjust, and I could almost read! It's enough light that you aren't a shining beacon in the night, but you can see with a soft glow in the room. I really enjoyed seeing it. My husband put it up this weekend.

My only plans this wek is an appointment this morning, we usually do dinner out Wednesday night now, and then on Friday my weekend starts, but that's all good stuff! I'm driving down south a little ways to visit with some friends. That's something to grin about!

290 Million Consumers

I was reading about a company that creates databases of information. Businesses contact them and get Mailing Lists from them. This is the part that blew me away. They have a database of over 290 million consumers on it. It makes me wonder if I'm on the list! Not only do they have 290 million consumers in their database, but they have over 14 million US businesses listed as well! That's massive, and one of the largest databases you'll find! MartinWorldwide.net is THE company to contact if you need mailing lists for your business. You can't convert sales if you don't have contacts, and this is the place to find them.

Plum Tired This Morning

I'm having a hard time getting started this morning. It's 9am which isn't super early, but I've been up for well over an hour, and I still feel like I just crawled out of bed! I'm TIRED this morning. Going back to bed won't solve it, but getting active will. It's just getting the oomph to get moving! Maybe a shower will make all the difference. I guess now is as good of a time as any to get one. Here's hoping I have a little more energy when I get out.

Do I Spill the Beans about Orlando?

We went miniature golfing yesterday. My son got hit in the head by the windmill that was spinning around. I felt so bad for him, but to watch him handle pain or frustration is intersting, because he's changing as he comes into his teenage years. To make him feel better, I almost spilled the beans that we are going to go to Disney this year. I held my tongue, because I'd like it to be a surprise.

One of our fun memories in Disney is playing miniature golf there at Winter Summerland golf! It's a cute little golf course, but the day we went, the weather was perfect and we just were so relaxed. We had a blast doing everything from going to all the theme parks to Downtown Disney. We didn't do Universal or Sea World in November, though we did them in June. I'd like to go back to Sea World with him as well.

Disney is our favorite though, and no matter how many times you go, you can't help but get caught up in the fun and enthusiasm. Even the McDonald's on the property plays Mickey movies while you eat. Each piece leaves you smiling.

When we stayed in June we stayed in a condo, and I liked the extra space. Maybe we'll check out Orlando Vacation Rentals, and find a place through there. I'm still undecided where I want to stay. I love having the laundry area and kitchen in larger units, and when you've had a long day, everybody needs their own space, so it's a good possibility we'll look into a vacation rental again. I'll know more as it's closer. If you're looking to keep up on the latest Disney News, you can get it here. This post has been brought to you by WindsorPalmsFlorida.com. I'll be heading south come November this year! Shhhh, I haven't told my son yet!

PR is On the Move

Everybody likes doing well, and with PR shifting, and Google moving again, many are sitting on the edge of their chairs waiting to see their final number. I'm right there with them. I try to ignore it, but as soon as the process happens, I get sucked in wanting to know where it will end up.

PR or page rank is not something I needed to know about when I first started blogging, so it really didn't make much difference. Ironically, when I didn't know it existed, my first blog moved up to a 4 with no extra help, but just me doing what I did. Now that I know about PR, it taunts me...because now I know where I can be, and where I am. This particular blog was a PR4, bumped back down to a 3, and I'm hoping will bump back to a 4. It's funny how those silly numbers make a difference.

The difference comes along when you are monetizing your blog. When you're looking at ways to make money on the internet, suddenly PR means something to you.

The process is starting again, and we'll go through this same thing in a few months. The question is, where will my pages end up? I have multiple web sites and blogs, so I go through this for all of them! It's a sit and watch game...buckle up, it's a bumpy ride.

Things Changed! Heading to the Kitchen

Well, that was short lived! My son just got up and my day is changing all ready! Just those few moments make the difference. I'm about to head to the kitchen and make some french toast for my son. Would you like some?

He likes to eat right when he gets up. Me...I need to linger for a little while, and don't eat for about an hour or two after waking.

What is your pattern? What is your dream morning, and what is your realstic morning routine?

Appreciative Coaching

I was recently reading about a book co-authored by a Capella University faculty member abotut appreciative coaching. The book, "Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change" was co-authored by Sara Orem, who works in the school's business and technology division.

Capella University is a school that offers you the chance to advance your education. They offer distance learning. The thing I love about e-learning is the flexibility it affords you. You can work on things from your home, at your pace, and on your schedule. If you're like most people, you have a job and a family, and time is precious. Getting to a school is half the battle. Online, using distance learning with an accredited university, you have the opportunity to continue leanring and work towards a degree. Quiet Mornings

The house is quiet. I like it this way in the morning. I'm a person who takes a little while to wake up. It's not that I'm cranky, I just need to take my time. Give me my Diet Coke, let me have a little quiet for about 30 minutes or so, and I'll be just fine!

The dogs are sleeping, the cat is sleeping, my husband is in the kitchen making something to eat, and reading while he waits. My son is asleep, and I'm doing a little writing. It's a nice way to wake up...

I like when I wake before my son. When he's up before me, he has all this energy, and I'm just not up to speed yet! He's a teen now, so he does a lot of sleeping in. It works well for me! I like my quiet mornings, and then we can be loud all day long!

Sweet Rewards

Shining like a beacon in the darkness, my can of Diet Coke awaited me. My eager hands slid around the cool can, and like a woman who'd been trapped in a desert for days, I gulped the sweetness and let it quench my thirst.

Oh yeah, that's what I adore in the morning. No coffee for this girl, I stubmle to the kitchen in the morning loking for one of these beauties. I'm off to the kitchen for another Diet Coke.

Web Forms

Last month I created a new web form for my friend's business site. I'm not very good with web forms, but I'm a learn as I go girl. Too bad I didn't know about Forms4Free.com before I struggled to get mine together. They help you create a form in minutes, and for a one time fee, you can have the formmail, where it's easy peasy to set it up. A simple form would have saved me so much time, instead of struggling to get it just right. I had to play with it a lot to finally get what I wanted.  I wish I'd known I could get a Web form made quick and easy before this. I'll know for next time!  If you're looking for a web form service, look no farther than Forms4free.com. This post was brought to you by Forms4Free.com.

Tax Comparison

Some friends and I were just talking about taxes, and in Tennessee they are having a tax free shopping day. I was surprised to find out they are charged tax on food and clothes. Of course, we all decided to compare what everyone's state taxes. I never thought much about it, because I grew up in PA, and am now in NJ. We don't tax food and clothes, but in other states they do.  Hey, that means New Jersey isn't the higest in EVERYTHING! Woohoo...take what you can get!

The Big Pancake

I made my big pancake today. Because I tend to eat out a lot, when I'm home, I make sure I stick to my Nutrisystem food, and one of my favorite breakfasts is my big pancake. Sure you can make three smaller pancakes, but where's the fun in that!

I make a big almost plate sized pancake! I add my egg in using my protein source, so that it gets fluffy, and let it spread out in a pan. The problem is if you don't flip it at just the right time, you've got a mess on your hands. I'm usually not patient enough, and have to force myself to wait a little longer.

This morning, I flipped too early, and made a mes! :( Oh well, it still tasted good!

Tri-State Area Firm

Let's talk Tri-State area for a minute, because when I moved from PA to NJ the Tri-State area changed for me! I always thought of the Tri-State area as either Pennsylvania, New Jersey and either New York or Delaware. I moved to New Jersey, and the Tri-State area is considered New Jersey, New York and Connecticut! It was odd to me, that suddenly Connecticut was part of the mix. It is, so I'm just going with the flow.

If you're looking for a lawyer in the Tri-State area, you'll want to connect with Simmons Jannace & Stagg, because they are THE firm to turn to in this area. Large corporations put their trust in them for their unique perspective and their ability to think outside of the box. If companies like Bank of America, Chase and Kmart can trust them, then you know that you as the individual can as well! They are a law firm that has been in business for a long time, and shows companies like Chase and JP Morgan the best legal advice they have to offer. I know if I'm going to choose someone to represent me, I'm going with a well known company that others trust!

Rainy Fridays

Another rainy day in New Jersey, but that's normal because it's Friday. I go down to see my Mom and sister on Fridays, and I always seem to bring the rain or the wind when I've come. I'd say tht 80% of the time, it ends up being rainy on Friday! I don't know what it is...LOL

Anyway, I just jotted down some plans for my next Friday, since I will be driving, but a little farther than my Mom's this time. I'm going to see two friends, and have plotted my route, figured out where I'm going to stay, and am excited to take the journey. This next trip will take me about 10 hours from home, where as the trip to my mom's is about an hour. I hope the rain stays away next Friday!

I have a few audiobooks I've been wanting to listen to, so this would be the perfect time. Can't wait!

Game Night

I grew up gaming. I remember when I was younger, one of my friend's had a father that was a high roller, so we went down to the Casinos a lot. Of course we were too young to play, but we'd go see great shows at night, and hit the beach and boardwalk down in Atlantic City.

The other thing my family did on a regular basis, was every holiday after eating and chattering, we'd get together and play cards or pokeno all night. We played everything from poker, to 31, to rummy to blackjack. It didn't matter, as long as everyone was together and having a good time.

When I came across ExecutiveGamingMonthly.com I couldn't help but think of all the fun we had growing up. And even now, I'm a regular at the casino. I'm a slot girl, and try to go down a couple times a year.  When I saw the slot machines at the web site of Executive Gaming Monthly, I fell in love!

They actually have these cool sets you can buy, and the High Roller Poker Mania package would make a great gift for my sister and brother in law.  They have this massive recreation room, with a custom made bar, and a big screen TV. This would be a great addition to the room, as all their friends gather around and get together to play cards, watch the latest ball game, or just to hang out.  It would be a good match to their room, as they always have people dropping by.

We could even get them a customized sign to add to the wall. They have the walls full of really great collections of pictures, newspaper headlines, and other great things. They have autographed pictures of some sports players too. It's just an all around great hang out room, and this would make the perfect addition. Would do you think?  Check out their game of the month club, and see what looks good to you!

My New "Old" Tech Toy, Jordana 728

jordana1.JPG

Here's my new toy I've been playing with today. It's a palmtop of sort...think of a mix between a tiny laptop, and a bigger PDA. They don't make them anymore, so it's an older refurbished piece, but it has a 2 year warranty, so it's all good.

It's a Jordana 728. I wanted something I could take with me when I travel so I could write. I don't want all the things a laptop gives you, though we have one. My husband uses it for work mostly. I have a desk top and I also have a PDA, but I wanted a keyboard, where I could blog or write when I'm at a hotel, or on vacation for a spell. Sometimes I have thoughts in my head I just want to jot down! Othertimes, I want to work on one of my books. Either way, it's my fun throwback toy that I just got. :) Thought I'd share it here, in case you don't read my tech blog.

Go Surfing and Win

I make money online by working at home. I'm proof that there are opportunities out there.  By being open to different opportunities, you too can earn some money from home. One such way is by playing a surfing game. It's called Adventure 11 and what you do is surf and win! You have a chance to win a small amount of money, or a large amount of money. You view websites once you're registered, and once you've visited 11 websites, you're eligible to start winning money.

Here's the skinny, in every 24 hour period, you have to have surfed 11 sites.  Go up to the "Go Surfing" link once you're logged in. While you're going through the surfing process, you may get a surfing surprise, which means you may have won a prize!  When the surfing surprise shows up, you click the button under it and see if you won. Within a 48 hour period, your winnings will hit your account over at E-Gold or E-Bullions. One small thing, you do have to be 16 years old to play the surfing game. You can check the website out for further details. This post was brought to you by Adventure11.com.

Tired Times

I'm so worn out today! Maybe it was all the fresh air yesterday, making the running around, or the chores around the house, but either way, I'm whooped! I did the dishes, 3 loads of laundry, did some computer work, vacuumed, ran to the grocery store, out to Wal-Mart, out to another store, out for dinner, folded laundry, and washed the bathroom floor!

:) An honest days work, and off to bed shortly! See you tomorrow...

Dreaming of a Retreat

Being down the shore has me dreaming of vacation homes. When it comes down to it, I'm not sure if I'd rather have a beach house or a mountain retreat. I love the beach, and am always down there, but I always love the serenity of the mountains. I had a friend who had a large property in Central Pennsylvania, and the time we spent at the mountains was so peaceful. I've always longed for wide open spaces, and after traveling out west, I dream of places like Wyoming, Montana and Colorado. I was over at bozeman montana real estate checking out some of the properties, as I'm always scanning real estate, and the homes you can find there are unbelievable.

I saw this one 3 bedroom home on a large lot that was to die for! It's like your own piece of heaven. I love when they have virtual tours on the web site. This one was a beauty, and all for so much less than you would have to pay here. It's the dream place to retire. A peaceful retreat that wouldn't leave us with a big mortgage like you'll find in this area!  Okay Deb, time to wake up from dreaming. I guess a vacation home isn't going to be in the works today, but I'll be retiring some day!

Back from the Beach

On Route 95, on the way to pick up my sister. Here comes my exit! I'm almost there. Next we head down to Beach Haven, Long Beach Island.

Here we are, this time we stayed at The SeaShell Motel. I like the SeaShell, Engleside and Spray Beach the best, because they are beach front!

Up the stairs to our Ocean Front room!

It's still quiet down here because it's April and off season! Coincidentally, we had gorgeous sunny days with temperatures at 83 on Monday and 78 on Tuesday! Lots of prep for the season going on down at LBI right now.

There's the money shot! One of my favorite views in the world. I love to sit on the beach and watch the ocean. I'm up in my room, on the deck,  taking this shot. You just walk over the dune, and then the white sandy beach is ready for your toes!

We had a blast, and enjoyed our trip. Dinner at Buckalews, and breakfast at the little Bayside Diner. We shopped at a few of the places that were open, sat out on the beach and laughed a lot together, sharing memories, stories and fun! :) I have a great sister...and we had a great time.

This is My New Jersey

People get images in their mind of places, so I wanted to show you my New Jersey. I was driving down to pick up my sister so we could head to the shore, and thought....hmmm...I wonder if people think New Jersey is one big city or beach? This is a stretch of Route 31 that I drive on a regular basis....this is the New Jersey in my area (Hunterdon County).

I'm about to stop for gas, which is about $2.67 right now.

Lots of trees and suburbia in my part of New Jersey. We have to be careful and on the lookout for deer. We have so many around here. I often find them in and around my development.

Sisterly Bonding

minicar.gif

This is me and my sister today, driving down to the beach! :) Okay, I'm heading off line! Busted!

(clip from DisneyClips.com

I'm a Staller, Even When I'm Beach Bound!

I'm slowly waking up, and I'm stalling. I'm online talking to friends, reading blogs and so forth. The problem with this, is I have to be ready to leave today at 10am. It's 8:15 and I haven't packed, showered, or cleaned out my car. I get comfortable and lull, pushing my time limit over and over again!

I'm not sure why I do this! Regardless, I've got to jump off line, because I'm beach bound today, and the weather is set to be delightful! I'll be back tomorrow by dinner time, but until then, I suppose I should start to get ready, huh?

See, even when it's something good, I stall. I'm not ALWAYS like this, but once I get in a mellow mood, it takes me awhile to get moving. Once I'm moving, I get a lot accomplished! Why I insist on sitting here still, when I know I have things to do, I'm not so sure. I'm not much of a morning person, but today, I need to be!

Okay, okay all ready. I'm jumping in the shower, have a great day. You know I will!

Start Investing and Stop Waiting

How many times have you said you'll get more serious about saving money or investing? It's time to stop waiting for tomorrow my friends. The thing is, those tomorrows keep coming, and people are less and less prepared for retirement. It's time to invest in stocks, bonds, us gold coins and precious metals. Diverisfy your portfolio, and start taking saving seriously. When it comes to investing in precious metals, Monex is where it's at. They can store your investment, or they can personally deliver it to you. They have many years in the business and are a company you can trust. When it comes to money, invest well, invest wisely, and stop waiting for tomorrow. This post was brought to you by Monex.com

Speaking of Summer, Beachy Times Ahead

Tomorrow I head to the beach, and while it will be in the high 70's around here, down there it should be low to mid 70's. Oh my oh my, perfect weather for being out and about. I think I'll enjoy the drive down, as much as the beach visit. I can't wait to put my windows down and let the wind blow through my hair!

I CAN'T WAIT! My beach chair is all ready kept in the back of my truck, and I don't care if I have to bring a sweatshirt if it's breezy, I'll be sitting on the beach in all my glory!

Summer is Almost Here

As bathing suit season approaches, people are itching to get that first glow of the season. A suntan is something that many of us crave when the weather turns warm. We want that beautiful bronzed skin that a suntan allows us. The problem with tanning though is that it's not good for your skin. Skin Cancer rates are on the rise, and it's crucial to be sun smart these days. Tanning beds are not a safe option either, and honestly, if you want that bronzed beauty look, you should look at self-tanners. You can use self-tanners and achieve those same results of a glow, without baking your skin and risking your health. At the spa, we offer airbrushed tanning, which gives a nice natural finish, evenly spread. There are so many self-tanners on the market, there's no excuse for you to bake in the sun for that tan. If you're looking for Self Tan Kits, then look no further than TVProducts4Less.com which offer complete kits, travel kits, and the airbrushed suntanning kit as well. This is one way to look great with a tan, that won't damage your skin! This post was brought to you by TVProducts4Less.com

I Sobbed Heavily on This Photographic Journey

I came across an entry on Scobleizer.com last night, daring us not to cry. I must warn you, when I followed the link to the photographs, and read the captions, I cried. I didn't politely cry little tears, I sobbed heavily. Enough so that it got my husband's attention, asking me if I was okay. These incredibly candid photographs follow a journey that Cyndie and Derek Madsen must go on, not by choice. If you go to look at the pictures, please take the time to read the captions. This is powerful work, but it's not for the faint of heart.

NASA Shooting

Man, oh, man...what is going on? At NASA, somebody shot a hostage and then himself today at the Johnson Space Center. He held off officials with barricades, and ended up shooting himself in the head in the end. The shooter was a contract worker.

Governor Off Ventilater

The Governer is off the ventilater and breathing on his own at this point. Good news to hear. There was controversy surrounding the accident where they were reported to have been speeding, and the Governor was not wearing his seat belt.

What Not to Wear and My Sweats

We caught an episode of "What Not to Wear" with Stacy London and Clinton Kelly on TLC tonight.  I turned to my husband and said, I love my jammie pants, I love my sweats, and I love to be comfortable. You do realize, I never want to meet these people in person right? He laughed and smiled. He told me he didn't have a problem with my sweats. I knew I loved this man for a reason!

I'm not going to win any fashion awards, but then again, I'm not interested in them either! I am interested in my baggy sweats that I adore!

Box of Books

After dinner, I took a break and decided to go through 2 boxes that have been sitting aside waiting for my attention. I had a couple of boxes that have old books in them, and things of the sort that I brought over from my mom's house quite a long time ago. I tucked them in a corner only to forget about them. I finally pulled the boxes out, and I came across a couple of catholic bibles, some VC Anderss books, a well worn notebook with poems I'd crafted as a young teenager, and some other non-descript items. I'm glad I went through them, because rereading some of the things I wrote when I was younger was neat. It's not the best writing, but it was nice reading it, none the less. The bibles, one was a pocket bible, I'll tuck aside for my son, and one was a copy that must have been my mother's or grandmother's. I'll pass that onto my son as well, as he is a practicing Catholic, and I'm not.

Bookmark Mania 3

clipboard.png

I decided to do a few more bookmarks to see what else I can find!

I have 43Things.com bookmarked. Kind of ironic, eh? I haven't been there yet.

The Lost Girls is a blog about traveling. I think I subscribed, so it should go to my feeder. I'll delete it after I check my reader!

I have a bunch of icon archives bookmarked, but I went through and got what I wanted, so I think I'll be deleting those. I have enough icons to last me all year!  '

I have a blogger forum bookmarked that I thought I'd check out. It was okay, but I didn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it another chance today and get rid of the bookmark if it still doesn't hold interest to me.

I have a bunch of hotels bookmarked. I need to toss those in a folder. I have one on my other browser, and they should be in there!

A bunch of research articles are bookmarked, but their purpose has been fulfilled, time to clear those out as well.

Spring cleaning isn't so scary on bookmarks! The only scary part is I still have TONS more to go through!

Beach Cruisers

With spring in the air here, and the temperatures getting in the 70's, I'm looking forward to spending more time outside! Over at CopacabanaBikes.com they have adorable beach cruisers! I love the Micargi Pantera NX7! I think I would have to get this one for my husband, and choose a women's style for me. Let's see, they have a ladie's version too. Mint green and pink look nice! I'd have to go with blue or black for the hubby. The beach cruisers are reminiscent to the good days of playing at the beach and reminds me of when we used to go bike riding on the boardwalk when I was younger. Down in Wildwood, you used to be able to ride bikes on the boardwalk early in the morning. I'm not sure if they still do that, but they are great memories I have from childhood. The beachcruisers from CopacabanaBikes.com are Affordable beach cruiser bicycles. I may have to keep them in mind as an anniversary gift. I love the classic styling of the beach cruisers. What about you? Do they remind you of visiting the beach and seeing people riding their bikes? That's what they remind me of. I spent a week at the shore every year for the first 20 years of my life, and from that point on, still go yearly, but sometimes I break it up into smaller visits all through the summer. This June we'll be renting a place down the shore. These beachcruisers would be great fun to ride on! This post was brought to you by CopacabanaBikes.com.

Bookmark Mania Continued

monitor-256.png

I'm still going through and decided to post a few more of my bookmarks. I'd be curious as to what you find you bookmarked but never got around to.

Ooh, I like BacklinkWatch.com, keep that one.

101 Freelance Essentials, an article I bookmarked, though I've read it and gone to the sites I wanted to checkout. Why am I keeping the article? Good question. Time to clean it out.

I found the link to a couple of templates I was considering for a blog, but since I all ready picked something else, I'm deleting those.

Google's My Notebook site. I'll get around to it. There's a couple of sites for pocket PC's, a few how-to guides, which I should probably go through and clip the information that I need.

Hehehehe..a guilty pleasure, Payback is a Picture...oops, it's gone. Guess they got busted, well it was fun while it was there. I can delete that one.

I have a ton of SEO ones bookmarked. I guess I should get through those as well. Those are the ones, that "I'll get to eventually".

What do you have bookmarked? It's scary how many bookmarks I have! LOL I guess this is a good time for cleaning them out. :)

Bookmark Mania

swap.JPG

I have too many bookmarks. This is one of them for SwapTree. I bookmarked it when I read about it on somebody elses site. Looked interesting, maybe at some point I'll get around to it. I have so many bookmarks I never get to, so I'm going to give my computer's bookmarks a springcleaning!  I sometimes forget I ever boomkarked something. This weekend, I'm going to start sorting through them. The funny thing is I have totally different bookmarks in IE and in Firefox. I didn't do the import thing, I just started a brand new list of new stuff! LOL

Let's see what else I have bookmarked.

I have a photoshop tutorial bookmarked. Funny thing is, I don't have photoshop. Maybe there was something interesting there. Peeked, no idea, but it's gone now! I deleted it.

Wridea.com...seemed like a neat idea, but I have enough other programs that work for me. I checked it out, played, and decided it wasn't for me. On the other hand, I still have the bookmark!

http://www.sxc.hu/ is Stock Exchange. I'll keep this one, it's a nice place to check for pics.

One was for LifeHacker's Texter, which I've all ready downloaded, don't need that one anymore.

Have you cleaned through your bookmarks lately? I have TONS more to go through. I'm going to do them in small batches!

Shore Thing

I'm so excited! My sister called to tell me the weather will be great not only thi weekend, but Monday too!  We head to the shore on Monday, and I'm thrilled. I don't need it to be ultra-warm, but weather that makes you want to be outside is fabulous! I'm not sure how warm it will be. She said it's supposed to hit 80, but my hubby said mid 70's. Either way, it works for me! This past rainy, cold and damp weather has me feeling all buggy, so I'm ready to sit outside and soak it in!

Win in Relationships

Confidence is the key to success in life. Whether you're trying to get a new job, or a new date, confidence is key. There's an ebook that talks to women about building confidence, that will help women look and feel more confident. The Sunroom is Warm!

I was just in the sunroom. Oh my gosh, it was so toasty warm in there! It's been awhile, since the past week or so has been damp and cold. I love sitting in there. I'm so excited that warmer weather is on the way. One of my favorite things to do when the sunroom is back to warm and toasty like this, is sit on the rocking chair out there and read a book or meditate in the morning. Somteimes, I just like to listen to the birds in the morning. Every late fall, the sunroom is closed to that. It connects off the back, through sliding glass doors. I'm so happy to have it opened up again, and tomorrow morning, I'll be sitting out there when I first wake up to enjoy it and wake up in a delightful way!

Gift Baskets for Mom

I remember my first Mother's Day as a mother. I had given birth in September, and when May rolled around, I thought how cool! I'm a mom this year, I get to be celebrated. Unfortunately my husband at the time didn't have that same idea. His response was, "You're not my mother." Of course, I had just given birth to his son a few months ago. Don't be a dunderhead, remember those mothers. Remember your mother, your grandmother, and the mother of your children!

Over at GiftBasketsPlus.com they have a large selection of items of Mothers Day gifts. What's great about this site, is you can create a personalized gift basket. They will customize or personalize anything for you. They also have all ready made gift baskets that are popular sellers as well. It's your choice, you can pick from a pre designed gift basket, or make your own. I love the World's Prettiest Mom Gift tower which offers a good value, and includes all sorts of goodies like cookies, pretzels and chocolates.

Being the spa junkie that I am, I love that they have a Spa Gift package as well! It includes lotion, candles, slippers and more! How can you not love the pampering effect of that gift basket. Your mom will adore this basket.

Head over to GiftBasketsPlus.com and check out their full array of products. They have a lot of other products to choose from as well. Don't forget mom this year! Mother's Day falls on May 13th, a Sunday. If you need help selecting products, you can call them at 1-800-GIFT-360, and they'll work with you to find the perfect gift. Your mother will appreciate the time you put into selecting a personalized gift, or choosing out something special. And don't worry about me. I've had a lot of nice Mother's Days since then! Though my first was something to remember! This post was brought to you by GiftBasketsPlus.com

I'll be heading out for awhile. I think I've chattered enough for today! I have a few errands to run, and then my son and I are going out. I'll be sure to report back here if anything fun, crazy or wild happens while I'm out and about Surviving NJ and maybe Surviving Bucks County too, while I'm at it! Have a great day, and talk to you tonight or tomorrow!

Happy, Happy Feeling!

I'm off to see the Wizzard...Ooops, wrong characters! ;)

Actually, I'm making another large payment on my credit cards, which inches me closer to booking our trip to Disney. It's such a great feeling to make a large payment on a regular basis like this. By the end of the year my credit cards will be paid off. Actually, the two I'm working on now, should be paid off by the end of summer! It's a great feeling, to get rid of that debt!
